Accessible Mental Healthcare for All

9/6/2021

As a psychotherapist, I want to make sure that mental healthcare is accessible for as many people as possible.  After all, untreated depression, anxiety, and trauma, is a serious issue for all of us.

The trouble is, society is set up to create obstacles to mental healthcare.  One such obstacle is the way we condition people who have been given the Male Label (for example, there are expectations that the Male Labelled must remain silent about emotional distress).  Add to that structural obstacles to mental healthcare, such as racism, transphobia, biphobia, and homophobia, and we are faced with a significant societal issue.

To take one step towards addressing at least some of this, I have produced a Survival Guide to help the Male Labelled recognize the signs of, and reduce the impact of, depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, and trauma.  With the help of these simple survival strategies, the Male Labelled can survive but also thrive, and this can lead to a healthier, safer society for all.

Beyond the Blue is due for release in October 2021, and I will shortly release a link to pre-order your copy.  To be the first to know about further developments, sign up for updates here - http://eepurl.com/gD41jr
